Vonage’s International Rates

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Many of Vonage’s new customers have been finding Vonage offers many benefits that the leading competition fails to do. One of the most common favorites are Vonage’s international rates which can be very very cheap, or, even free!

This has come as a pleasant surprise to many who signed up for the service before even learning about the international rates. For example, a call can be made to Mexico City, Mexico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sydney, Australia; Sweeden; or even China for only 1 cent a minute. Some of the leading competition offers calls to the same locations for between 10 cents and 30 cents a minute.

The best part about Vonage’s international rates is that if a person calls France, The United Kingdom, or Italy, it costs 0 cents a minute. That’s right! Completely free! The rest of Vonage’s international rates can be checked on their site and are also low. For example calls to Spain, Ireland, or Germany range between 6 or 7 cents a minute.

This is just one more way that Vonage takes care of their customers making life just a little more convenient. Many people are taking advantage of these unbeatable low rates right now and enjoying the benefits that come from it. They’re great for homes and businesses alike.

Vonage Caller ID Block

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

Another one of Vonage’s many free features, Caller ID Block is ranked among the favorites. This feature allows a customer making a call to block all of their information (such as name and telephone) from the receiving party. This can be perfect when having to call someone you don’t want to have your information such as a company whose list you don’t want to be on; or a person that irritates you. It is also perfect if you or someone in your house has to make a call and you would like the location to be anonymous. The best part of course, as is mentioned above, it’s completely free! Just dial *67 to activate the ID block and the the regular number. There really is nothing worse than somebody calling you back that you don’t want to hear from.

Vonage Text

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

Although Vonage offers many features with their VoIP plans, there are a few that stand out and above the rest. One of these such features is Vonage Text. Just by looking at the name of the feature, I thought it was just some kind of new text messaging service, but after reading what it really is, I couldn’t wait to try it. Vonage text is perfect for people who are tired of listening to voice mail, but even for people like me, who actually enjoy voicemail, Vonage Text still has huge advantages. Vonage Text automatically transcribes your voice-mails to text so that you can read them right from your e-mail. This makes it easy to check your voice mail in noisy restaurants or airports since you can read it and don’t have to listen to it. It’s not necessary to waste time taking notes on important messages anymore either, cause it’s all in your e-mail. For me, it cuts down the time it takes to check voice-mail since it’s generally faster to read than to listen to someone’s sometimes way too long message. Text really is another great way that Vonage has made organizing your life just a little bit easier.
