The basic rate for the first line is only $25. Each additional line is only $10 more, which is very cost-effective. I have been very satisfied with this VoIP provider. Here are some advantages that stand out:
First of all, the sound quality is excellent. Before I got the service, I wondered how the sound quality was going to compare to other phone services. My friends told me that I sounded garbled when i called them. This may be because of issues with my old router, which I replaced 11 months ago. I have not had any issues since then.
With Vonage, I believe the quality of the call is better than a land-based phone line. The sound of my voice is distinct even with talking or TV noise in the background. I can call my friends abroad…they no longer sound a miles away due to intermittent signal or signal loss. I never get a bad connection now and sometimes, in those rare occasions I get static in the afternoon in Egypt, but I believe that the problem is their telecommunication company.
